Outdoor Pickleball League Information

Leagues are designed to keep everyone playing in a social, fun, and competitive environment. Murray City Pickleball leagues allow 14 registered players and are six (6) week round robin mixers, which means individual players will rotate partners each match. Leagues will consist of six (6) to eight (8) matches per day depending on available players registered. 

Location: Murray Park Outdoor Pickleball Courts 

Days: Tuesday or Thursday, mornings or evenings, depending on division

Times: Mornings from 7:00 am - 12:00 pm; Evenings from 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm, see below for specific times

Cost: Murray Residents: $25 per player; Non-Residents: $35 per player

Division Limits: 14 players allowed per Division (i.e. 14 players for 4.0 Men's & 14 players 4.0 Women's)

8:30 pm - 11:00 pm   3.0 - 3.5 Women's

Thursday Morning Leagues

9:30 am - 12:00 pm   2.5 - 3.0 Mixed

Thursday Night Leagues

6:00 pm - 8:30 pm   3.5 - 4.0 Mixed
8:30 pm - 11:00 pm   3.0 - 3.5 Women's

Skill Division Definitions:
2.5 Skill: You are new to pickleball, you are not familiar with all the rules but can hit the ball a few times back and forth.
3.0 Skill: You know the rules and can track your own score; you are still building your pickleball confidence and are able to keep a rally going.
3.5 Skill: You are confident in your pickleball skills; you play regularly and often play in tournaments and leagues to improve your game. You can hit long shots, drop shots, and have a basic understanding of pickleball strategy.
4.0 Skill: You have played in several local tournaments and won many of them. You have a strong understanding of pickleball strategy and can hit consistent drop shots without error.
4.5+ Skill: Your dedication to travel and compete has most likely earned you an official USAPA rating of 4.5 or higher.
