STORYTELLING RESIDENCY
Storytelling Residencies are a great opportunity & fun way for children, teens, and adults to develop story writing and storytelling skills. Residencies are offered to each school within the Murray boundaries and can be held in the classroom during school hours or after school hours. Principals have the choice to host a residency. Typically, one residency is offered on a Saturday at the Murray Library for students who attend a school that is not hosting their own residency.
Participants of each residency will be evaluated by the Storyteller Professional, who will invite a select few to present at the Storytelling Showcase. Finalists from the Showcase are then invited to participate in the Annual Country event, Story Crossroads, held in May.
