Hiring Roster

To be placed on the hiring roster, you must pass a firefighter written exam and a physical agility test. Usually the top 50 to 60 scores from the written test are invited to participate in the physical agility portion. The physical agility test is a pass/fail. The candidates who pass the physical agility test are placed on a hiring roster based on their test scores. These tests are generally given annually. The written test is typically a general aptitude test.
