A Murray Christmas Tree Lighting

 Tree Lighting & Santa Visit


Saturday, November 29th, 2025 at 6:00 PM

Join us at Murray City Hall at 10 East 4800 South

for the following activities:

  • Visit with Santa. This year, instead of a Santa line, you can pick up a free wristband and come back during your allotted time. Wristbands can be picked up outside at the east entrance starting at 5:45 pm. If you would like, have your child bring a letter for Santa.
  • Watch the fireworks before the tree lights turn on.
  • Outdoor Santa Village with games and activities.
  • Come shop at the Holiday Market from 4:00-8:00 pm.
  • Listen to Hillcrest Jr. High students sing led by Ms. Elder and a performance by the Jingle Jacks / Five Carols for Christmas.
  • Enjoy free hot chocolate and make your own s’mores.
  • Tis’ the season to help others! Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to children in need or bring canned or shelf-stable foods to support the Murray Children’s Pantry.
  • Walk through the Murray Museum, decorated for the holidays, 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
  • Stop by outside the newly renovated Murray Theater and see candy windows on display. There will be a shuttle bus available;  the shuttle bus stop is marked on the map. Open 4:00 - 6:00 PM. 
  • Wander through lights, including a glow visit from the Chick-fil-A hot air balloon, for the most wonderful time of the year!
