The Murray Aquatic Center may close or have amended hours due to any of the following weather conditions;

• If there is threatening weather, high winds, heavy rain or thunderstorms the pools will close or possibly not open for the day. Lightning poses a serious risk of injury at the pool. In the case of Lightening, the pool will be evacuated, and people will be directed to safe shelter nearby. Pool activities will remain suspended until 30 minutes after the last thunder is heard. If it is not feasible to reopen after 45 minutes, the pool will close, and an attempt will be made to reopen the pool later in the day.
