Overview

• The Fleet Services Division is responsible for providing vehicle and heavy machinery repairs and replacements for all City departments.
• Fleet Services is an internally funded department, billing each City department for services provided on their individual vehicles and equipment.
• Both regular and heavy-duty vehicle repairs are performed in one shop building.
• Murray City currently owns more than 425 different types of vehicles and equipment.
• Typical repair work includes:
  • Electrical repairs
  • Engine tune-ups
  • Hydraulic repairs
  • Tire repairs and replacement
  • Brake work
  • Many other types of general repairs
